25 years ago tonight was the purple pants game vs Kentucky

Ugh! I remember listening to the game on the radio at work (senior in HS working at Nooleys in Central).

I remember watching that game at Triple A off Bennington back in the day trying to decide what was uglier, the game or the unis. Terrible Terrible Terrible game.

It’s like literally one of our colors, I think that’s all you need for it to make sense.

Those were terrible. It can done with purple pants but you need to go with a purple helmet like the Minnesota Vikings wear on the road at times. The Washington Huskies also wear purple pants on the road but with their gold helmet and it is a good look.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind the purple pants. I like switching up the uniform and that doesnt look bad.

I agree with the sentiment, that if we had won the game, no one would care about the pants.
