Excited to see this duo in year 2 with Baker. Would be nice if they are both ready to go by 8/30

I want to see both of them upfield running Klubnik down at or behind the LOS to start the season.

Weeks will be for sure. Perk will be cutting it close but I suspect he’ll be ready. I just hope they’re both as explosive as before their injuries.

Burrow as a QB and Perkins in the star role require totally different levels of stability and explosion from their lower body post injury. I’ve seen plenty of guys who take a full year or longer before they fully trust that knee. Perk is young and an athletic freak who should heal quickly barring any set backs. Just don’t be surprised if his return is more deliberate as they ramp him up.

Weeks has recovered very well. It was really scary seeing him go down on that TD run in the bowl game
