A profound thank you to the cheap shot artist from UCF in the Fiesta Bowl

Prior to that moment, Joe was a solid QB. But from that dirty play forward, Joe was spectacular and his teammates were committed to do whatever was necessary to win. The rest of the game was a brief glimpse of what was in store this past season, and opening up the offense just made it all the better. Geaux Tigers!

Game changer! We should send him a Thank you card

Which one? The guy who hit him or the guy who spit on him?

I'm really surprised that later in the game two of our linemen didn't go high-low on this guy and break his freaking leg. That is what should have been the payback for standing over Joe and spitting on him!

Because that would have been detrimental to LSU. You want to embarrass a bitch on the football field, send him home a loser.

What was his name again? It’s funny because he’s still a fricking nobody who played for UCF and Burrow is a superstar who just signed a $50,000,000 contract. Kinda funny how it works out when you think you’re a big dog and do something shitty for no reason, karma sucks

If an LSU guy hit someone like that we’d be lionizing him.

Love the idea of that being what the change was but Joe was always that good, he just needed some blocking, his receivers to stop dropping passes, and a rb home run threat.
Not gonna lie, I loved that someone sent him something in the mail mocking him. frick that pussy, the o-line dropped the ball big time by not calling a hit on the guy. Someone should have cracked his arse at the end of a play.

Someone spit on him??? Who?? And dudes right, but not with a lock block, just level his arse at the end of plays over and over. There's legal ways to punish a defender.

I agree he was on fire after that in that game. However, from the second half of the Auburn game his junior year Burrow began playing like Joe Montana. I don't think I've ever witnessed a more accurate college QB. His wheels were often the difference as well. Frustrating to watch from an opponent's perspective but impressive nonetheless.

No we wouldn't. It reminded me of the hit from Boutte after the Wisconsin INT. Of course Boutte's hit was after the play and an ejection, but both were dirty. It's still a wonder there was no flag.

Who said the guy spit on him? I see him stand over Burrow and say something but how do you know he spit on Joe? He would have been ejected if the ref knew about it.
