Need to go 6-6 remaining SEC games to have a shot. 7-5 and you are a Top 8

They will finish 5th or 6th in the conference which is about where most predicted. Vandy has a MUCH easier schedule ahead so they will pass LSU.
Too bad TAMU wasn’t earlier in the season. Auburn weekend was the killer not today.

No it wasn't. Last weekends sweep un-did a lot of
good will we built up in the 1st half, but we are still on track for a top 8.

Just finish in top 4 of SECT. hell 18-12 might get it done this year as some of the top of the league are coming back to the pack (Arkansas/Georgia to be specific).

Plus we get Tenner and Arky at home.

No it wasn't.

We are averaging 2-1 in every SEC series thus far. Everyone would take that in February.

We are 12-6 in the SEC. We are dead on target to end up 20-10. It won't be easy, but it is doable.

Take care of NW State on Tuesday and win 2/3 versus Tennessee.

If we aren’t good enough to win games against those 3 teams we aren’t good enough to be a Top 8 seed.

BUT, if we win those series, then we will definitely be a Top 8 seed. It’s called opportunity.

You split those games and you are 1000000% a top 8 seed.

Same guy that thinks Nolan Ryan threw 108 mph?

I like our chances.

They are 4th with
Tenner
Arky
A red hot TAMU, who are nearly .500 now. They will beat Texas in that series. Kelly has them pitching their asses off. Reminds me of the job he did down the stretch in 2021

There are maybe 6 wins there. Vandy has
Ole Miss in Shitford
Tenner in KVille
Bama in Nville
UK in NVille

I think Tenner is a bad match-up for LSU as is Arky especially knowing Van Horn and pitchers.
Ole Miss is solid but they just swept a good UGA team
Bama is solid but you saw that they are very beatable.
UK and SCE are the split and they play UK at home while LSU is on the road.

They still have at Ole Miss and at Tennessee left on the schedule. As well as playing Bama and Kentucky. Going to have to disagree they have a much easier road than LSU. Especially with how they play on the road.

Agreed, the next 3 weekends will tell if we are contenders or pretenders.

I'd rather go 7-5 and leave no doubt
