LSU officially has 5 open spots now.
I kind of saw this one coming, it didn’t look like she was going to be ready anytime soon . Velez seemed to love LSU but she also probably wants to play more so its understandable. I wish velez the best.
On a positive note,
Rumor on the street is a really good guard from the portal is gonna announce soon so she was going to get portal over anyways for next season

ADR needs to hit the weight room and play a lot more physical next season

Besselman going nowhere, local product would not play a lot at virtually any D1 program, on team for leadership etc

I think she needs to work on conditioning more than weights if she wants to be on court for longer periods of time. She got some fouls just banging inside and hitting people with elbows. I don't know about the lifting part but getting quicker and faster for sure. I think she will make progress this offseason.
