What are her injuries exactly? Is she stable/recovering okay?

The LSU women's basketball team expects Last-Tear Poa to be released from the hospital Saturday after she suffered a concussion in the Tigers' win over Ole Miss.

The LSU junior guard has "movement and feeling throughout her body," the team said. According to coach Kim Mulkey, her CT scan came back clean.

The injury, which forced Poa to leave the court on a stretcher and head to a nearby hospital, occurred in the fourth quarter of the game, a Southeastern Conference tournament semifinal.

"She was just a little bit unresponsive, mostly is how I would describe it," Mulkey said. "She could squeeze your hand lightly. She could tell you she could feel her legs, but she couldn't really articulate good enough for you not to be afraid."

Imagine she’ll be fine, but in concussion protocol for a period of time, you don’t want her stepping into another charge, which was a charge( bs call imo), anytime soon

Two weeks off after today so hopefully she’s good to go come tournament time.

Poa has taken a crazy amount of charges this year. I get the incident yesterday was just very unlucky but I think Kim is gonna be on Poa moving forward about not taking these chargers and preserving her body, especially on a thin team. Just play great D straight up which Poa can

With a concussion and the Tourney coming up I would say it's a given.

That's an incredibly serious concussion. I wouldn't expect her back for at least a few weeks.

LSU can honestly get through the first and second round at home without Poa so if they get her back 3 weeks later I'd be okay with that as well

Wait!!! What?? A “little bit unresponsive”?? That’s like being kinda pregnant.

Agree with above. That’s a serious concussion. Probably back by Tourney play but quite limited in charge taking for sure.
