Anyone else have trouble finding nice looking LSU apparel?

I guess I’m just not the biggest fan of heavy purple apparel. I like black LSU baseball hats and it seems like the only ones they sell are the high crown type, which I hate. I also really like the diagonal LSU font which they seem to be doing away with in favor of the big block font. I can’t find a decent looking LSU hat anywhere. New Era 59fifty is the style I really like but just can’t find any of the ones I like in Low Profile. Anyone have any suggestions?

The reason you’re having a tough time is because black isn’t LSU’s colors, but there is some stuff out there.
New Era makes plenty of LSU hats, with the low profile crown, but black will be limited. Goodluck.

It’s an issue. I thinknj Said in another thread it’s hard to find any good hats with the baseball logo in it.

I saw plenty hats I liked at lids, except they were all goofy high profile hats, which look terrible IMO.

Bought this one on Amazon it’s got purple on the bill but it’s a nice hat. It’s out of stock right now but it’s nice.

LSU has long been pretty cheesy on the apparel selection. The LSU croc baws will probably downvote this.

I saw that exact hat in Lids and tried it on. It’s a high crown hat so I didn’t like it. Love it except for the high crown.

I wear a hat 365 days of the year, so I'm ultra OCD about my hats. For years and years I bought the 47 brand navy blue LSU hat with LSU interlocking logo. I had a new one for when I wouldn't sweat, and an old one for when I would. A year or two ago they decided they weren't going to sell them anymore, and I went into a full blown panic attack. I was able to find a black one in stock that I immediately ordered, but even the black didn't cut it for me.
My wife ended up finding me a Astros one that she gave me for Christmas. Not LSU, but it does the trick.

Does anyone know if the normal (not camp) purple hat the players wear is on sale anywhere and which one it is?
