Anyone else love Coach McMahon wearing the suit tonight?

If you haven’t watched the game, look at Coach on the bottom of the screen. This is how college basketball coaches should dress. It’s a real job, act like a damn professional! The “casualization” of coaching wardrobes has been a disaster for college sports on par with the N.I.L. nonsense. Coach McMahon bucks that trend tonight with a sharp light suit and a dashing royal purple tie. Plus, he hasn’t looked like a gross sweat hog like Bruce Pearl or Buzz Williams.

You can’t say that coaches should wear suits then make fun of some of the few who actually do because of how much they sweat. The sweating is why they don’t wear suits anymore lol. It’s hot as shite under the lights on the court and they are moving around a good bit during the game.

This the first game you've watched all year? Outside of the WV tournament, he's been suited up.

I wonder if you'd say this to the D1 leader in wins upon his retirement? The colorful words out of his mouth would be interesting to hear.

I like the sharp dressed look too. Rick Pitino, Pat Riley, and Chuck Daly use to look sharp in their suits when I was younger. I can certainly understand coaches opting for the more casual clothing, but Coach McMahon looks sharp in my opinion dressing more professional.

That wasn't the first time he has done this.

Ask that A&M coach who wears a 3 piece suit enjoys wearing it. That dude sweats like a pig and can't carry enough handkerchiefs to mop up all his sweat.

Basketball isn't a gentlemen's sport any more.
