Through 13 games this season, here are your team leaders in average exit velocity (min 20 balls in play):

Dylan Crews 100.2 mph
Brayden Jobert 92.5 mph
Jordan Thompson 92.2 mph
Tommy White 91.7 mph
Paxton Kling 91.4 mph
Brady Neal 91.4 mph

Safe to say Crews consistently mashes baseballs hard.

What'd I miss? 92.2 is very solid, consistent contact.

Thompson being on this list is kind of shocking. Is there a PA qualification here? Because Jared Jones and a couple others hit the ball extremely hard when they do make contact.

We’re all used to seeing 100+ exit velos these days, but I don’t think a lot of people realize truly how hard it is to average 100mph

If you hit a dribbler to pitcher at 40mph you have to do some real consistent mashing to get that number back up.

What is normal for a MLB type player?
Obviously Crews is just that but have zero idea.

Exactly. So in a nutshell, Crews squares the ball up almost every time. Or at least close to it
