Baseball Fall Scrimmage #4 10/4/19

I only saw parts of 2 innings today due to early start and lightning stoppage. Both teams scored 1 run. I saw 3 pitchers throw; Hasty, Fontenot, and Costello. Hasty hit 91mph and Costello @ 93. Hasty gave up two walks and two wild pitches. The only hit I saw was DiGiacomo's single.
Sorry for the abbreviated report. There were quite a few disappointed fans at the Box today.

Do they normally start that early? We got there at 5:30 and missed an inning

The last two scrimmages have started earlier than scheduled. They often change the start times for reasons known only to the staff.

This Monday they start @ 3:00. My attempt-to -walk-on grandson will get to pitch. BIG left hander. Played club baseball last season.

I brought some of my 7U team today from about an hour away. We only saw about two innings due to early start and weather. We were a little disappointed but a few of the players stuck around to talk to them and sign balls for them. This made their day. Thank you to all of those players.
