That tattoo actually looks legit as hell.

And that glove? Equally awesome looking.

Can you really call yourself a Coach's Committee member without something similar?

I have "Jay" and "Johnson" tattooed on each an arse cheek, but in retrospect a forearm tiger tattoo may have served as a better conversation piece.

I don't want to answer for the guy, but I believe that comment was said with a bit of sarcasm..

Gone are the days of PM’s 160 pound players.

Idk, having another dude's name on your arse would lead to quite the conversation I'd imagine.

This narrative is hilariously overblown

Did he just become best friends with LSU baseball fans? Because that's how you become best friends with LSU baseball fans. That and win in Omaha.

when bats changed to the ridiculous levels PM went to the defensive model in both the of and if and it worked while trotting out Gausman and Nola and Lange

the problem is when they trended things back towards offense PM philosophy didn't change all that much and he fell behind other sec teams from an offensive standpoint
Plus they missed on a lot of pitching and/or arm injuries derailed a couple of seasons as well

2017 says differently. Paul knew what it took to win and win consistently.

The issue with PM was always boots on the ground recruiting. He didn't give a shite about it for a couple years after they won in 2009 and then didn't give a shite about it after 2017 when he shot his wad only to lose to Florida and then was just tired and hurting. Not excusing that, at least for the post-2009 mindset, but contrary to popular belief, Paul was very adaptive to the changes in the game throughout his tenure.
