I've never been to an LSU Baseball game but am trying to get tickets to Game 1 of South Carolina game. What's the best place to sit (tickets that are actually possible to purchase)?

SRO has the best view, imo.

In the 200s around 3rd base

Honestly if it's your first time in the box and it's an SEC Friday night game, anywhere is a good spot.
Fwiw I like the OF foul line bleachers myself.

This. Just get there a little early. And you can stand behind the grand stands behind home plate. Yes you'll have to stand the whole game but it's worth it IMO

Nah you can go sit in any empty seat that's available with the exception of gold or purple seats. After the 5th inning, the gold seats then also open up. I do this every game.

when I bring a flask of scotch in, I'd like to think it would be next to me

I'd say behind either dugout, but I don't go to the Box much. I will be there on May 14th when they play UNO and will be in a suite with my entire family. In that instance, I will be rooting for UNO. Any other time.....Geaux Tigers.

As long as you don't act like that jackass from Nicholls last week.

Go to ticket exchange or ticket marketplace. Tickets sell for face value and tickets are available. Get a seating chart & look for anything under overhang

All the seats are pretty good. Go stand by the Tiger out front and you will find tickets.

No worries there. We are a civilized group of people.

I like to sit in the Grand Stand. I generally steal Dan Borne's seats when he's not there (which is most games).

So you think the student section has good, even decent seating? You don't even feel like you're at the game when you sit out there.
