Mortimer's new executive chef was behind those! A true delight!

Pesto Cafe in 71 is good for Italian. There are also a few wineries and tap rooms throughout NWA. People who think Fayetteville is not a nice town probably faint Shreveport is the big city!

Hit I-30, head south until La/Ar border...

Cafe Rue Orleans not too far from campus is owned by a cousin of the family that owns Smitty's in Kenner. She is from S. Louisiana and the place is legit.
She competed this summer at GASCO in New Orleans and had a great showing.
Saw some BBQ places named. Best is Wright’s BBQ over in Johnson.

I’ve lived in Fayetteville and Baton Rouge. Fayetteville is a beautiful place.
It’s named a top 5 place to live at in America for a reason.
Now outside of NWA the state pretty much sucks.

Second best SEC road trip next to Tennessee last year.
I’m in Knoxville’s Market Square right now. I’ve never been here for a game, but I bet it would be great.

Not sure what year this was, but at one time they were ranked #3 best place to live. I'm sure Louisiana towns/cities occupied the top two spots.

Beautiful City. I haven’t been overly wowed by the food. Wood stone Pizza is Good. Hammondtree has Good Sandwiches. I wanted to like Penquin Ed’s, but I found it bland honestly.
Arkansas fans are every bit as loyal to Hogz as we are to our Tigers with a lot less success to keep them going. I hope LSU beats them by >21 points, but I don’t dislike Hogs or their fans.

quote:. I can’t speak to Fayetteville but Starkvegas isn’t that bad. Been there twice. Didn’t find anything necessarily wrong with it. There is just absolutely nothing there. The shite hole of the conference has to be Gainesville. I don’t know anyone that has ever went on a trip there and thought it was nice.
Fayetteville and Starkville.

Drive to Bentonville, buy a house and stay.
Seriously, head to Crystal Bridges early, walk the trails around the museum when you're done. Grab lunch in Downtown Bentonville or YeYos at 8th St Market.
Head back down to Fayetteville around 2pm, grab a bite on Dickson to hold you over, maybe hop in Hugo's for a burger.
