They will improve, but aren’t really prime time SEC run blockers yet.

They probably never will be. They are built like tall receivers.

Last season against aTm, we ran 14 personnel, one RB and 4 TE's. Kelly likes this option. You've seen Bo Bordelon with the #89 jersey, playing the TE position. Kelly and Sloan wants this within their offense. Green will learn to block, look at Taylor now. Everywhere Kelly's been, he's put an emphasis on the position.

In Kelly's short time at ND, he had 8 TE's drafted into the NFL. To find 8 TE's drafted from LSU, you'd have to start in 1990, till present day.

If you look at Durham's two short yardage TD's, we ran 14 personnel. Durham and 4 TE's. Pimp, Bordelon, Taylor and (WalkOn) #45 GiVanni Peterson.

Kelly has two commitments in the 2025 Class. I don't think Kelly is finished with recruiting this position.

I've been wondering why we haven't tried sliding Dellinger over to Center and Bordelon at LG

You are such an ignorant fricking tool. You don’t know shite about offensive lines or coaches.

You're giving him way too much credit, he doesn't know crap about way more than that.

When wearing 89, he does not have to report as eligible. Sneaky way to get a 6th lineman in

Mrs B

My son and I met her with David LaFleur’s wife and one daughter each with them while we were all eating lunch on the patio of Martin’s Tavern in Georgetown back in June. They saw my LSU hat and that kicked off the conversations.

They introduced themselves as former players wives and then told us the players. Mrs. B was in a sun hat so I had no idea who she was until they introduced themselves. I then kind of side-eyed her for a moment before asking “Were you at the White House with the team a few years back?” They all started cracking up because of course they knew exactly why I was asking.

We took pics but she requested please no social media because her husband hates the whole thing. So I asked “So no Tiger Rant?” She said “Oh yeah please no Tiger Rant”

They were a very fun group. Great ladies.

Yeah, I don't think anybody is going to run off the Bordelon/Bollinger kids. And no need to anyway, they are both very good football players (as was their daddy).

I always enjoy Cole Cubelic's summary each week of each team, and noticed he mentioned Bo in his LSU report this week:
LSU: Rivalry win. Def in full attack mode. 4 great off edge. His hands are lethal. Inside & outside moves. 40 just all over the place. Seems like he's in on every single play. 35 good on the rush. They had QB on the run most of the game. Tackled well in open field again. LBs perused well. Really good vs run. Got yo k game going early. Like pocket movement for QB. Got 2 involved right away. Like how 13 climbs pocket. Changes arm angles. Good quick distribution vs high pressure. Still tries to fit it in some spots that might not be there. 66 good, had some battles with 40. He finishes though! 86 had a good game. Evened up formation & got zone runs going a little. 29 got it going. Runs low, good burst. Has a nice jump cut. RBs struggled in pass pro. 89 gets after it when in there at TE.

That's all I have...

FWIW, he looked like our best OL in the second group on Saturday. He did a good job pulling.
