LSUWIRE- Tyler Nettuno - According to a report from The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman and Pete Sampson, Tigers offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock has a “legitimate interest” in returning to Notre Dame in the same role. Fighting Irish offensive coordinator Gerad Parker recently left to become the head coach at Troy.

While that may be true, does Mike Denbrock also have a "legitimate interest" in becoming a multimillionaire at LSU?

I wish you would have a "legitimate interest" in making decent threads.

It's weird--He aggressively sucks and knows everybody hates him. But has committed to this strange schtick for whatever reason.

Hush Troll! I wish Kelly had a "legitimate interest" in keeping both Denbrock and Sloan at all costs. It's like finding a "Jeanie in a bottle". Why would LSU waste years looking for a third one?

I think LSU will try everything in their power to keep him. If he goes he goes. You pick a new coach you move on.

The 59-year-old Denbrock is believed to have legitimate interest in a possible return to Notre Dame, industry sources told The Athletic.

That sentence would not inspire confidence if I were a Notre Dame fan.

Didn’t he just sign a three year extension?

I can also sense Denbrock, after producing one of the most explosive offenses in college football, wanting to get recognized monetarily in a big way.

No it’s not signed yet. Has to be approved by the BOS

This. Dude is trying to get a pay bump coming off a Heisman season.

I’d just let him walk personally.

Best thing to ever ever happen to Denbrock was JD5. Let’s see what life after that is for him.

Honestly if Denbrock is gonna flirt with every opportunity than I’d rather him go now.

Sloan has been the man behind the scenes and he’s clearly the QB whisperer (which is the main reason our offense exploded).

Let’s be real, Denbrock has never had an offense like he did this year throughout his career.

I’m not sure he’s the mastermind he’s being built up to be.
