Little has a few decent performances and people forget the guy has been a walk machine and are surprised when said walk machine gives up walks.

He never should’ve been in that moment to begin with because he’s not that guy.

Herring threw almost 50 because he couldn't throw a strike.

He clearly didn't have his best stuff yet still got 4 scoreless outs and stranded an inherited RISP. It was a good outing until Jay decided to bring him back out. Poor pitching decisions have been rampant this whole season. Moffett has earned some trust by now. But they had 4 of their 5 hitters were LHP when they brought Little back out. That's the time where you just have to go to Ack and burn him for the win. Especially after last weekend where Jay showed hes willing to take Ack out after 2 walks on a Sunday despite not yet giving up any runs.

Do that and you either go into Sunday having already won the series or Herring is available for the start.

4 years and you still can’t trust Little. Man I wanted to believe but today he showed his true colors.

I know people have been clinging to hope, and I love the Tigers too, but this season has been over for a month+. You just can't recover from the hole they dug themselves.
