Article in the The Advocate today. chances of this actually happening?
Cam Carter is the only possible NBA level player I’ve seen here in three years. Him coming back with some better guard pieces would raise my eyebrows and interest. If there are bags to be handed out, this one should be prioritized.

If he comes back, it confirms that the NCAA is a dead org. He’s played 4 years of college basketball. His freshman year is the only year he didn’t play 30+ minutes a game.
There is no reason he should play another year of college sports.
I don’t want him to be the only one left out if it can help LSU. But overall, somehow some way, we need to reinstate 5 to play 4.

What is the waiver based on? He's played 4 full seasons of college basketball.

The NCAA is kicking around the idea of just giving 5 years of eligibility with no red shirts.

I did not think it was a possibility either until I opened the paper this morning and read the article…… I agree I have no clue what a waiver would be based on, but it at least seems like it’s being explored and a possibility.

IF …. He started performing on D ….. he’s got Jrue Holiday fluidity on the offensive end. I think he can make a roster.

I’m in favor of 5 years to play 5. We are essentially talking about minor league sports now. Let these kids that are not gonna be able to make it in pro ball have another year to play and collect NIL.
