Think it was fourth quarter .. we were at game and radio call I think mentioned this was the penalty which gave us a first down.

What is defensive delay of game?? Offensive sure .. but what is defensive delay of game??

Yeah. I’ll take it. I assume it was similar to a disconcerting signals call.

Ok didn’t realized that it was called delay of game. Heard it talked about when we watched away games on tv but not as delay of game

Thanks.

And yes I’ll sure as hell take it.

I think it can also be called if a defensive player lays on a tackled player too long or messes around with the ball trying to kill more clock

ETA: not what it was called for last night though. The DB clapped like others have said

Yes LSU got this call on them like 3X's vs USC in the season opener. Drives you crazy because it's so easy to not do. Just don't freaking clap!

Nope you only cant clap whenever the QB has been using this method to signal the snap to the center all game otherwise they can clap all they want.

It was a terrible call in that spot. Honestly felt like the refs giving one back to LSU after blowing the 4th down spot that should’ve been a turnover and game over.

Yes the CB clapped, but to me it was clearly not intending to simulate the snap. Thank the crowd for leaving early as the ref never would have heard it if they were there.

It was called 3 x when we shifted. Clapping wasn't involved. That's what really makes you crazy.
