Hoping for 2:30 but likely the night CBS game.

Most Likely 7 or 2:30

Assuming Bama and LSU win this weekend I'd put 7:00 start at 90 percent probability

No official announcement, yet. It's CBS doubleheader weekend with 2:30 and Primetime games.

It will likely be LSU @ Bama, but there are 3 viable options.

Options (if everyone wins next 2 weeks):

LSU (6-2) @ Bama (7-1)
Mizzou (7-1) @ UGA (8-0)
A&M (5-3) @ Ole Miss (7-1)

LSU Schedule
vs Army
Bye

Bama Schedule
vs Tennessee
Bye

Mizzou Schedule
vs USCe
Bye

UGA Schedule
Bye
Neutral Site vs Florida

A&M Schedule
Bye
vs USCe

Ole Miss Schedule
@ Auburn
vs Vandy

A lot can happen in next 2 weeks, but I still think LSU @ Bama is the likely choice but Mizzou @ UGA is interesting and Jimbo fighting for his life at potential Top 10 Ole Miss is also interesting.

Don't think we will find out until right at noon on the Monday after Army.

Unless there is some sort of flex option that allows them to delay it even further.

I bet they flex it IF Tennessee beats Bama. That Mizzou/UGA game may bee too good to pass up

It's going to be 7:00 pm (CT). Book it! Make your plans around that time.

CBS didn't select that weekend as a double-header to show freaking Missouri @ Georgia. It literally would not matter if both LSU and Alabama lost this weekend. It would still be at 7:00 pm. Those are two national brands and the game is annually one of the most watched games of the year (regular season).

In no universe does CBS pass on LSU v. Alabama to show a game involving Missouri, for the same reason they broadcast the Auburn v. Alabama game every year. Certain matchups always draw big audiences. LSU v. Alabama is one of those

I thought it was destined for 7pm, but Georgia and Mizzou are playing in 2 weeks.

Mizzou vs South Carolina and Tennessee vs Alabama this weekend will decide it.

CBS chose 11/4 as their SEC double header specifically to have LSU Bama in prime time.

Maybe CBS wants LSU/Bama at 2:30 for viewing reasons? Who knows, maybe there will be a big night game they don't want to compete with. Lot of factors.

(I am also hoping for the 2:30 for our chances lol)

Going to be an odd weekend. Two games have the potential for the winner to represent the east and west.

I could see a toss up between LSU/bama and MIZ/UGA

Regardless of who gets the night game we both get the CBS.

It’s going to be at 7pm. CBS wants one last LSU-Bama game in primetime. There have been worse LSU teams still getting picked up by CBS for that 7pm Bama game. Ratings.

More than likely:

CBS 3:30 EST
ESPN 7:30 EST

I'm hoping ESPN gets it again. I would prefer Rob Lowe and Herbie to get this game for their prime time slot. F CBS.

CBS has two games that weekend.

So… CBS 2:30 and 7.

I’ve got a feeling LSU/Bama be at 2:30 on CBS considering UGA/UF is at 2:30 on CBS the weekend prior.

There are no other factors. CBS picked that as a double-header date SOLELY because LSU was playing Alabama. That is the game they will broadcast at 7:00. The 2022 game was the most watched regular season game on cable TV since 2016. And it wasn't even a top 10 matchup. CBS is NOT going to pass up that huge audience to show a game involving Missouri. That would be the case even if Missouri were undefeated.

All CBS cares about is ratings. No offense to Missouri, but casual college football fans won't tune in to watch a game involving them. They WILL watch LSU v. Alabama because both are national brands.
