I don't think he's on the two deep at DE
Maybe if he bulks up he could move inside where they desperately need help

He was the 4th string JACK (WDE) last season. Ovie Oghoufo graduated, Bradyn Swinson has become the starter, Dashawn Womack has become the next man up, and Jaxon Howard has transferred out. He might have become the #3 WDE, but we have seen Kolaj Cobbins there instead.

So far this season DC has been moved to SDE, where he has already been passed up by at least one early enrollee true freshman, Gabriel Reliford (and possibly Ahmad Breaux as well), making him the 4th or 5th option there.

Maybe the guy will stick it out at LSU, but what would you do if you were in his situation?

Depends. He grew up around the BR area. Was his lifelong dream to play football for LSU or just to play college football? Hope he sticks it out at LSU.

It looks like Reliford may be more a Jack than strong side DE right? He has versatility

It would be nice to see a STA Gator contribute

Definitely. Don’t think we’ve ever had one.

Carpenter looked solid playing on the opposite side with Reliford in the Spring game.

Carpenter had a nice tackle vs. Army last season when he got to play toward end of the game.

Don't count him out!

We have to have these kind of guys... that stick around and become real men that do damage as seniors. Michigan just won a Natty with 18 of 24 players being just that kind of player

I think he’s a guy who will shine once he gets pt. Watching his high school film, he’s the type of player that will translate over in my opinion. The kind of player who isnt necessarily the practice warrior but explodes in the game.
