I was in the north end zone in the section next to the students. The play happened in front. Could have sworn 2 plays earlier Fuller caught the ball in bounds for a score. Years later would watch a replay and he was indeed out of bounds. I was very young and remember that play forever.

I thought the Miami game later in the season was quantum levels more boring than this one.

I was in Missouri. Otherwise, I would have been in the student section.
I did get to experience Bring Back The Magic(tm) and 2007 Florida, so there's that.

I was in the south end zone also.It was the loudest I have heard in my life time! I remember starting a Cheer leaving the stadium "you ain't number 4 no more!"...this caused the Auburd band to start playing to no avail we drowned the entire band out!!!

This was one of the few if only LSU football or basketball games I didn't watch or listen to live.
I had tickets to go see Prince that night, and no way in hell I was missing that. I just taped LSU on my old VHS VCR, went to the show, and didn't end up finishing the game until about 5am.
For the youngsters out there, those were the days with no smart phones (or cell phones for that matter). There was almost zero chance I would hear anything about the game, so it ended up being like watching it live. And damn, what an ending!!
