In a classic politician move, the senator from Houma proposed the bill but it as suggested by an outside group but he doesn’t remember who.

He is either a legit dummy, or he has something to hide.

What ever happened to right to protest? We just ignoring the First Amendment now?

I know this wasn’t a protest but in the case where it is, the Protestant get immunity from public opinion.

And in case you missed it, some state Senator from Houma is trying to give the governor the power to appoint the chair of all higher education boards. That gives him more power to appoint some campaign donor to b3 the chair of the LSU board.

What a shock that someone from Houma is trying some dirty political shite to give crazy power to an extreme right wing nut.

Shocked I tell you.

It's freedom from the government retaliation.

The dude is the governor of the state calling for their scholarships to be revoked.

Yeah I would argue that goes against the First Amendment.

If it was LSU releasing a statement that the school requires all athletes to be present and standing for the anthem than that is one thing. It is another when a government official wants to use his position of power to stomp on our rights.

shite I thought they taught this shite in middle school.

His trial lawyer arse could be criticized for many things, including accepting $200K from the pogey companies, then not pushing for pogey quotas and shoreline buffers.

Once a trial lawyer, always a trial lawyer.

Jeff Landry is a white Bobby Jindal.

He is going to show that he’s a nationally viable republican candidate every chance he gets.

so shitting on the women’s basketball team because they didn’t respect the anthem absolutely in his wheel house

Was Army not on the field for the anthem in Baton Rouge last season? The United States Military Academy. I guess Jeff thinks they are un-American as well. Jeff wanted to score points with the RNC, Fox, and the alt-right window lickers by taking a cheap shot at the state's land grant institution. fricking political grandstanding at it's finest. Plus he's a bottom-feeding USL grad.

If it's that big of an issue, Jeff should have a private conversation with Woodward instead of trying to score points with the alt-right mouth breathers.
