Evans Should Have Pitched Last Night

Jay mismanaged and overthought this series so much. 2-0 6th inning, you bring in Evans (like he is comfortable doing). This was a legit horrible decision and criticism should be had. He didn’t even get out coached, vitello just let Jay over coach

I’ve said this before and got roasted…I think Jay is a good coach and we should be glad we have him…that being said, imho, he manages like he’s in the majors and has 162 games to tinker and figure things out.
Simplify things and teach the kids the fundamentals of baseball that they still need to learn.

We were not close to putting pressure on Tennessee pitching at that point. We would have lost anyway.

I just assume you all never ever watch any baseball besides lsu.
I mean in this case the situation did not warrant him being in the game. And the actual result of the game reassures that even more.

Now if you want to say evans sould have been the reliver and let Cowan start here i would agree but he is the ace next season infront of Schmitt.

All of us that watch all year knew that Jay was rolling the dice on pitching. If Jones males that play at 1st maybe it's different, but after that he was saving Cowan and Evans. I think he made the right choice like most of the time.

Disagree. We had hit 2 solo shot HR’s. Other than that we were doing nothing offensively. We only scored 1 run the rest of the way so even had Evans come in and been lights out we would still only be tied and gone to extra.
