This is a thread for simple discussion. This is my opinion on what the lineup should probably be going forward for the foreseeable future. I know people will disagree and I'm interested to see with what other ideas some of y'all have. Anyways, feel free to discuss.

Players who should be in the lineup everyday: Curiel, Stanfield, Brown, Jones, Dickinson, Milam, Braswell.

Frey and Pearson should rotate at DH based on matchups, etc.

Hernandez should start at catcher at least 2 games per weekend. Arrambide can get a start to give Hernandez a break if need be.

As far as pitching goes, obviously Anderson, Eyanson, Cowan, and Evans are your best four. I know some people would like to have Cowan as the 3rd starter. I don't really have a super strong opinion on either side of that arugment, so I'm curious as to what others think. After that, I don't really know. I would like to see more of Noot. Rizy and Ware will need to be used. Benge and Schmidt will need to peice it together at some point.

Cowan could be a great Sunday starter, but then you lose a huge bullpen piece. Honestly we have 4 pitchers than can be relied upon. The rest of the arms need to step it up.
For DH, I wouldn't mind seeing John Pearson get some ABs there.

It'll have to be Anderson/Eyanson/TBD if he is giving up on Shores. If you can make it to Sunday without having to use either Evans or Cowan then they are obvious starters. You can't blow a lead on Friday or Saturday by trying to save Cowan/Evans for a Sunday start.

I tend to agree that that's how it will be handled. Interested to see if Noot could sort of be that go-to option on Sunday to give you 3-4 innings assuming that Cowan and Evans have already been used.

Would be nice. Schmidt could and should have been that guy as well. It's been disappointing to say the least.

Honestly at this point since we can only depend on four pitchers it’s best to use them in game 1 and game 2 if we have a chance to win.

If we are up like 6 or so try not to use one if down don’t use Cowan or Evan’s.

Then if we lose game 1 or 2 we have at least one of them ready to go Sunday
