Temple just turned 38 in May. This will be his 15th season in the NBA. He played one season in Italy in 2008. Crazy that this guy is still in the league.

Good for him. It's a minimum deal, but I believe for his amount of service, that's over $3 million. Garrett's done great for himself.

I hate what the NBA has become, politically and even the product on the floor. It's basically just a 3 point contest with fast breaks mixed in, not traditional basketball, and that's very boring to me.
But to add to what you said, I always get a kick out of people that say no defense is played in the NBA. Yes, you have your divas like Harden and others that play only token d, but these are the best 450-500 players IN THE WORLD. They know how to put the ball in the basket with ease, even while being "d'd up".
