Is gas still “not allowed”?

I thought it was allowed but you had to vent the exhaust above like 6’.

Save the planet get rid of gas

I bring gas generators and just set it to blow the exhaust at my neighbors, nobody ever says anything

In the official LSU tailgate rules it is not allowed; just like big tents and big bbq pits aren’t either. None of it is enforced.
On the LSU sports website LSU says this:
“No gas powered generators”
But then LSU says this:
“Portable electrical generators are permitted, but are discouraged.”

When you fart, hose it back to your mouth reducing your carbon footprint forever.

We went to every home game last year in the RV lots and had a gas generator. I emailed beforehand to make sure it was okay. I was told as long as it wasn't "too loud" and properly vented, it was fine. No one bothered us all year following those guidelines.

Well I just bought a brand new inverter generator. Come and take it!

Just so long as you have one that will play your sound system louder than your neighbors

We rented a 2200w Honda inverter last year (one we originally had was massive and loud). Very low noise levels. They do not care if you have one that isn't obnoxiously loud and just be mindful of where your exhaust is facing. Only thing I think they are picky about is open flames/smoke.

This is just for RVs

Likely driven by Woke Will Tate but not enforced because it’s bullshite.

“No gas powered generators”
That's ridiculous, If true...
I can imagine you can us the 5 foot x 5 foot x 7 foot Battery to run your tailgate.. As Long As you cover the Logo on the Battery so there no advertisements happening LSU isn't profiting from ....
Pretty sure I seen generators last year ..

Correct. Red beans and rice are banned on campus for game day.

You’re buttoned up way too tight if you actually did this!

That may be in the rule book, but it’s not enforced in the least.
Bring your generator, you’re fine.

Hope so; who wants to hear that nuisance noise and smell gas fumes?
