Great to hear Flau'jae not jumping to WNBA, but is she definitely coming back to LSU?

I'm not trying to stir the pot, but I haven't read one comment from her or Mulkey about the situation. Myself, like most of you, thought that meant she was coming back to LSU, but this is all about money and we know a lot of money is being thrown around. Not hearing from either FJ and Mulkey is a little concerning because this is huge news for the women's program moving forward, but silence of the other end has me a little worried!

1. No school has tons of NIL for WBB...not Carolina nor Texas nor anyone else.

2. EVERY major school has to share revenue starting in July of this year. WBB is not getting a big part of that money. Most of it will go to Fball and MBB. At LSU 87% of that $17-18 million will go to fball and MBB.

3. FlauJae makes money on her own, with contracts she has because of her music and because of her fame at LSUWBB. She really has no $$$ motivation to transfer anywhere.

4. FJ will play basketball and graduate from LSU.

The only people making any money around the wnba are the chicks talking about it on espn. They are having expansion teams this year too. When you are already losing money and you add more teams that means more money down the drain.

100% incorrect she keeps her deals after college. It's very easy to look up

Sure you likely keep your deals, but I still think you build your brand bigger while being the face of women’s college basketball more so than the wnba. That’s just an opinion though. I think being a star in women’s college basketball has more shine than the pros right now. Of course you can point to some pros with really nice deals. I think Flau’jae is awesome and can make great money either way. I don’t see any reason to chase money to go somewhere else just for one season.

She is the OG recruit to turning LSU’s women’s basketball around. These type of stars rarely leave great programs. Paige came back to UConn, because she felt she owed it to the university after all the time she missed due to injury. So much respect. I believe Flau’jae is the same.

Go frick yourself and quit posting on the threads if you don’t like it.

And let me let you in on a little secret—you’re a nobody, nothing, chickenshit poster on these boards. Nobody here gives a shite about your opinion on WBB.

Agree with this. Flaujae is nationally known and the face of college WBB. She is the main attraction in college. She is mobbed after every home and away games. When she plays in the Wnba, she will be like all the other rookies, starting over and having to prove herself she is worthy. She will not be the main attraction any longer since there are so many superstars in the Wnba. But the NILs will follow her whether in college or Wnba, because most are national brands she is marketing. She will do well financially in college and Wnba.

There's no doubt she will make more money in college, but in these crazy days of NIL/TP, there are no guarantees any player is returning to the same team! Do I want her to come back to LSU? Absolutely!

The problem is when there is complete silence about such a big announcement from both the player and HC, it's a little concerning. The reality is loyalty means nothing to players anymore and it's all about money! We all know that FJ is an extremely talented player and I can see another team that's missing that one key player throw a lot of money at her. It's happening every day in college athletics!
