Westin across the street from MMP

Marriott Marquis a block away

Holiday Inn, Magnolia, Sam Houston, Hilton Americas, Embassy Suites are all easy walks.

ETA: I think they just opened a Hampton Inn a block or two way from MMP as well.

We are staying a couple of blocks away at Hampton, a little cheaper than some of the ones closer to Minute Maid.

We're doing Holiday Inn downtown. Cheaper than some, but not cheap.

Just google downtown Houston hotels and find something in your price range; whatever that may be.

As someone mentioned the Marriott Marquis is right there, brand new, and super nice. It has a rooftop lazy river in the shape of Texas. Has Craig Biggios' restaurant as well.

The LSU baseball team is staying at the Hyatt Regency on Louisiana St. about 9 blocks from the park.

The hotel has a shuttle to Minute Maid Park for the games.

I have stayed at the club quarters before. Not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in but great location.

Walk to Enron
Around the corner are a ton of bars: flying saucer, jackelope, Irish pub etc.

Honestly man you don't need to stay downtown. I got a Hampton In. 10 minutes outside the city for $61/night.
Hotels.com but it was a couple weeks ago. Check 5-10 minutes away from downtown for half the price

There is a courtyard Marriott that was only $69/night on 610 and TC Jester. That's 8 minutes from downtown.
No brained for a Marriott property

Hilton Americas - real close and has a Pappasito's inside. Killer margarita's and good food.

That's right across from a seedy strip club called Solid Platinum, if you're in to that...

You need to quit your job and become a Houston travel agent.

New Homewood Suites (Hilton) 1.5 blocks from MMP. New Hampton Inn is in same block.

We stayed in Hilton of the Americas last time and walked the 6 blocks easily.

Prepare for rain all weekend while we are in Houston.

Kind of pricey but, the Inn at the ballpark is located at minted maid. Can't get any closers than that.

Need to? No, but I want to. The Hyatt's room is only $219/night.
