RB
Caden Durham so
Kaleb Jackson jr
Trey Holly so
——Harlem Berry fr
——JT Lindsay fr

Since Hurley is back, I can see Ju’Juan Johnson possibiy moving back over to Rb if we have problems.

and I like downvotes, so here’s why I am asking.

I don’t know anything about Trey holly anymore. I assume he’s not here for 2025.

But Kaleb Jackson is really the question for me. I don’t know why his vision suffered. But also he looked slow with the added weight.

I had this feeling that if Kaleb did well in spring, he would ease the need of having to add a portal backup after Durham.

But I haven’t heard a thing about him. If Kaleb and holly are not great, we still only have three running backs.

Eta. Seconds ago I just saw that he is staying. I had now clue that he was considering leaving. Regardless, do we need one more?

Underrated....if he puts on a little weight, he will turn some heads

Need a power back and run I formation.

We don't even have a Michael Ford type in the stable.
Running back position has been missing ever since 2016

I think we're 1 RB short. Not sure why we didn't try to keep Emery but I guess it's probably NIL related. If Holly is cleared that would change my opinion but I dont think you can count him right now unless BK knows something we don't.

In the age of the transfer portal you never know if a guy like Jackson will leave but even if you do keep him you're one injury away from relying on true freshmen

True fresh and not an early enrollee.

Need a portal guy, if they don’t take one we are throwing every down.

CD is pretty good
KJ has lost some weight and working hard.
Berry is a freshman but the real deal & is also great as a receiver out of the backfield
JT - underrated but also a Top 10 RB
Ju J- is running with the QBs but they have set up some red zone plays where his skills are good
There is not an elite RB that will portal to play at LSU in a crowded room, but if a warm body is what they’re looking for I’m sure we have some on the roster. ZT has some plays running and Perk even though recovering has been used at RB as a novelty but had 1800yds rushing in HS.

Hope this translates back to 2023 KW and not 2024.

There have been multiple posts here that he is including some clips of him participating in drills.

I’m predicting JuJuan Johnson to be the starting QB next year. I could be crazy though.

I'm fully expecting KJak28 to become what we thought he was 2 years ago. It's all about time on the field...getting reps.

No way!

And RB is one position where true freshmen are often successful.

I would like to pick one up from the portal though, just for depth. You can never have enough running backs.

He did an interview with Hunt Palmer saying he was staying and working on his game, specifically short yardage and pass catching

Good to know. Glad he's recovered.
