Is the H silent like it is in Hebert? Or is it pronounced like He?

I’m rewatching the game on TV and the announcer is saying E Lair. That’s wrong?

"He" does sound like "E" if you say it with his whole name

I've been saying "huh-lair." I've heard "uh-lair" and "e-lair."
