Bless her heart. I’d imagine I would be speechless and zoned out as well.

I can't stop laughing at it

What was the 'correct' answer to this question? I didn't see it live and don't get the context.

They’re not listening to all of the hoopla. It’s easy to not have context.

What obstacles have you as a family overcome to get to the draft.
Posted on 4/25/24 at 10:16 pm to mikelbr
How far have they come in their journey as a family over the years is what she was asking
Posted on 4/25/24 at 10:17 pm to DVinBR
Tbh as an alum she has a perfectly valid point

It’s way too deep of a question to ask in that setting.
Posted on 4/25/24 at 10:19 pm to TheWalrus
It’s a really loaded question for really only a few seconds of spotlight
Posted on 4/25/24 at 10:20 pm to DVinBR
It was the right answer.
Just regular people aren't used to being on national tv and all of that. His parents seem awesome down home folks.

They are just good people. Surprised the dad didn't throw the F bomb in there. Momma is sweetest lady you would ever want to meet

You Jerk. You would be smooth huh? You have never accomplished anything or had a child that will to even compare it to, but you are on the floor laughing? Maybe some of us boys will come help you up in a painful way

Should have followed it up with Bitch I from Louisiana. What a dumb arse question?

Wife and I were just talking about that question asked. It's pretty offensive in a way. Why assume they have struggled to get to this point in life?
These are your normal middle class working people from walker. Not a struggling arse family from the hood

That proud mom knew what she was doing.....the sarcasm was intended to baffle the dumb assed interviewer. You go, momma!

The media is so desperate for sob stories they want everyone to be a victim.
I don’t know the Thomas family circumstances, but in that setting I’m sure his parents were completely overwhelmed with emotion and immediately get a mic stuck in their face. I would barely be paying attention to the question she asked.
