Such a stupid post. He’s been one of the best pitchers so far.

Dumb post. Although he start off shaky last year, he came on really strong and was one of our most reliable relievers.

Serious question, what is it about his performance last year and his performance this off season that tells you he will give up a bunch of runs or hits?

Remember last year he came in the game with runners on every single time and he only had two bad outings that I remember

I’m just surprised he got the start with all the talented arms we brought in. I say rip the band aid off and let the new guys get in their groove.

I also don’t understand the chess move of saving hurd for texas. Do we really care that much about an early season midweek game?

All I need is one more than any opponent we play.

...but being the first games for both teams it can easily be lopsided on both sides. I just hope we go 3-0 and remain injury free heading into next week.

Well we scored 51 last opening wknd vs Maine.. so probably less than that...

But WMU had an 8+ team ERA last season so way over 25.5
