if we can't get a covid test. The board monitors apparently don't think that helping a Tiger fan get in the stadium is worth leaving up on the board...that is sad.
I appreciate any help finding a place between Shreveport and BR tomorrow to get a test that will give us results in 24 hours.

The rapid 15 min tests are not sufficient, correct?

Sorry to hear that brother... people have lost their minds w/ power during this COVID nonsense. I know it's hard to accept but the actions of the LSU admin show that they are not committed to the fans and don't give a shite about us and just care about virtue signaling. It will change once they see how much money they're losing.

My advise to you is to just root for the tigers at home and hope for a change. Be ready to come back once 0 and the social justice warriors are canned.

I thought the rapid tests were OK? Need me to fed ex one down?

On second thought, why don't you just pop in and get vaccinated somewhere?

Rapid tests are at just about any and all pharmacies.

PCR tests you’re gonna have to call around. Call your walk in clinics first and maybe primary care physicians? Try your occupational health places too. I know there are several in the prairieville area that do Covid tests but don’t know if they do PCR

Most of the urgent care places have them: Lake After Hours, etc.

Just call and say all 4 of you were around someone with Covid and you need to be tested.

I had a PCR test done around Memorial Day at a OLOL urgent care. They swabbed our noses curbside and I waited for results. They handed me printouts for each of us in 15 min.

LSU is offering vaccinations and COVID testing on gameday if you have no other options. All the info can be found here.

If you go this route you better reserve your appointment ASAP. They only have so many spots.

For the future, just go on Amazon if you’re in a pinch. They have 24hr mail-in tests. You do have to pay for them but they’ll mail it to you. You do the test yourself and mail it the next day for which they provide free, one-day shipping and then send you the result within 24hrs of receiving it.

I heard on the radio this morning that they would be giving tests on campus and texting you results. If you take this route you need to call them now and see if you can reserve a spot.

Is that PCT though? I think that’s the crux of the OP’s problem is that it’s not any test they accept, but a specific type.

Unless it changed no they are not. Must be PCR which is a 72 hour turn around.

You can get those at CVS etc but must mail them off and wait for return results

To my knowledge, after reading the reports, LSU is not offering TESTING, only the shot.

ETA - Its going to be a cluster frick on game day.

Even if they were you can’t schedule them right now. In fact, I tried to schedule a test in the New Orleans area and 9/10 testing sites from a month ago are closed, and the handful that are open have zero appointments available for any kind of test.

I kept telling you, the testing option was never a real option one could rely on.
