I found it fitting, comical and satisfying, that Brady Neal had to watch Larson and Milam hit their HRs from such a good seat....... Baseball is a wonderful game sometimes.

Neal is a good hitter but a VERY AVERAGE defensive catcher. Brown should have been out at home but Neal tag was high, also had a passed ball that was 100% on him. Catcher is a place you give up some offense for great defense.

Throw came in on the right side of plate or he would have gotten him, at least that's what it looked like from my box seats.

If we are being honest, he outplayed both our catcher's last night.

Would Brady Neal have the worst average on our team? Isn't he batting .225 or close? I swear...

The amount of time Brady Neal spends in some of your head-spaces is comical and embarrassing.

No he isn’t. He is batting .214 at Bama has a career .241 average.

Yes, throw was offline but as he moved to his left he went for the tag high. Had he dove with his glove at the front of the plate he would have been out. Glad he did not. The point I am making is he is not a great defensive catcher and should probably be a DH or outfielder. Catcher is just too important.

Agreed, Neal is absolutely not a good hitter.

Not really. In his third year of SEC baseball, he’s barely hitting .200. Honestly he’s probably better defensively than he is offensively. Him being able to hit a HR once blue moon doesn’t make him a good hitter

head a career 200 hitter who hit his second HR is the season last night.

he’s a bad catcher and a bad hitter.

should have taken another year of HS instead of coming to college early.

Except he wasnt last year here and still isnt at Bama. He has pop in his bat and thats probably why he continues to play, but his average overall this year is close to the mendoza line and in SEC play last year he hit .143

Neal was clearly overrated considering his HS rating.

He thought he had successfully pulled off a Dutton on us but failed to realize that a baseball game has more than 5 innings

p.s. I can stomach a player transferring to almost any other school except Alabama.

Atleast we don’t have to deal with yet another season of Jay Johnson forcing him into the line up to watch him pop out.

3 years of stats say otherwise.

.241 BA career
.172 BA career in SEC games
