Depends …if we hit the ball and scores a decent amount of runs vs their bullpen arms and Cowan and Evans shut them down, yes there’s still a positive out look but nothing we’ve seen the last 3 Sundays lead me to believe we will

We still struggling with good SEC pitching. Depends on what they have today. I'm not a participation trophy guy. I like to think we have a chance to win it all....I can't see that with our lack of depth pitching and inconsistent hitting (mostly bad against good to great arms)
but yes, if we win tomorrow, it still gives us hope to gain a double bye....we lose, and we gonna be fighting for a single bye before it is over.

C - If we lose our weak-hitting streak is getting kind of long. If we win tomorrow with some offense I could believe a little easier.

The win Friday night rekindled hope. It was a classic. The loss last night reminded me that our bats are simply not with us. It’s not just against good pitching as Northwestern State midweek pitchers rocked us like a baby. Maybe the SEC tournament will wake us up. I hope Jay can figure this out.

B. My outlook is the same. Win the series and we have everything right in front of us. 2 of 3 against a Top 10 team is always the goal. I don’t understand these knuckleheads who melt over a loss to UT. Has LSU played their best lately? No. Well then, that alone should bring optimism. This is a Championship Series team in Omaha.

Need to see bats produce a few weeks in sec play before that changes.
This team may be able to make it to Omaha but hard to make a deep run there with so many lineup and bullpen questions.

You are correct even at 3:14am. LSU cannot beat Tennessee tomorrow. There is no game tomorrow. Hopefully Evans and Cowan can hold them to 2 runs or so today.
