Is this the biggest collapse in the history of LSU?

Never seen a team dominate all year and totally fall apart. Jay Johnsons teams of the past had these same issues. This is what we’re stuck with

I can’t remember any of Skip’s teams collapsing like this in his 18 seasons. This is unbelievable!

Les should’ve been gone that November.

That was a highly overrated team to begin with.

2010.

Was 32-6 thru 38 games. Fell apart, didn’t even host a regional. Finished 41-22.

2010 baseball was pretty bad.

2001 was pretty bad

Went from #1 in the polls with 2 SEC weekends left to Tulane ending Skip Bertman’s career on the road in a super regional after a 1-5 last two weekends

2010 is probably the worst of all time. Went from 32-6 to barely making the NCAA tournament.

Is it a collapse if the season is still going? What if they come out of a slump and have a solid post season?

Say it's his fourth or fifth year, Kim Mulkey has won another championship, Brian Kelly has been in the playoffs (new format) every season, but no trip to Omaha yet. Does Woodward make a move?

It would be something if we somehow don't get a top 8 seed and lose a super on the road this year because, ironically, this team was built a lot like the 2001 team when Skip just hit the transfer market hard for a lot big bats to cover all that we lost from 2000 so he could ride off into the sunset in Omaha.
