Yea, I know it's countdown to football season, but it's still baseball season. Got to see Jared Mitchell play today. His Kannoplis Intimidators (White Sox class A affiliate) played our Asheville Tourists (Rockies class A affiliate) this afternoon in an important Sally League game. The Intimidators are leading the north division of the Sally League and the Tourists are leading the south division. The Intimidators won today to gain a series split 2 -2. Could be a preview of the championship series.
Talked with Jared before the game. Really nice kid. Hope he gets up to the show quickly. His last four hits have been doubles.
