You know who you Are. Take this as a lesson to not be emotional and stop panicking everytime one bad thing happens.

Jared Jones is a monster and his power makes us lethal. I don't want to hear shite else about him the rest of the year. 4th in the SEC in hits, top 5 power ever at LSU and put a ball into fricking orbit to beat a top 5 team in a huge game. Also reached based in 3/5 AB's

Jay Johnson is retarded for subbing in guys like Beck in the 9th last week but he's a genius today? Or May hitting a baseball is really hard and he knows what he's doing but not every single decision works every single time.

Jay is a hell of a coach.

Stop being so damn negative and shitting on our guys and coach. We're damn lucky to have them all and were a powerhouse poised for a deep run. Let's ride

You have to be patient when following a baseball season.

Dalton Beck, 2 SEC ABs, clutch single to score a run and keep the inning going. Brought it within 1 run.

It was just confusing last week because he was pinch hitting for Stanfield who is our leading hitter in SEC play. Last night Beck hit for Arrambide so it made much more sense. And no one is shitting on Beck. We just don’t know how good he is because he doesn’t play. So whenever a guy who doesn’t play is put in a crucial situation, it’s confusing.

Agreed.

oh the irony with you saying this. While I agree and you don't see me on here doing that....it isn't off base to see someone really struggling and think they may need to sit for a bit.

lmao...sure thing. He has struggled mightily, along with Frey and some other. Hope this gets everyone out of the funk they have been in a few weeks.

If Beck had grounded out and ended the game, you would probably be one of the ones questioning.....but because it worked you are all holy as thou.....It is like playing black jack, losing 8 hands in a row, and after finally winning a hand, the dealer looks at you and says quit bitching, you won. Time will tell.

He has led us to a NC. I think he is a good coach. Time will tell on greatness.

For the record, I'm not negative. Hell, I wasn't even negative about basketball. I think we have a chance to be really good. I do believe today is important to see if we can feed off that momentum. I know Tenn is saying they gave it to us, and in a way they did....but, we still had to execute multiple times to take advantage of their generosity.

I think it's fine to criticize guys who are struggling. On the other hand, it's stupid to overreact and say definitive things like:

"He should never play again."
"Jay is a worse coach than (insert name of coach who's team is also struggling right now)and he won't win anything ever again."

This issue isn't the criticism. It's the overreaction. Jones has looked like shite in SEC play. That's a fact. Frey and Milam have also looked bad. That doesn't mean they should see the bench forever.

I’m afraid you’ve come to the wrong board for that.

I was critical of Jones said he was getting back into his old ways of swinging at junk pushing too hard. I still think that was right but my god you cannot deny that man's power Jesus he makes hitting the ball 450+ look easy what a beast

Not possible. The retards you just described are mostly guys that never made it past little league, have zero understanding of baseball in general, much less the level of athleticism it takes to succeed on this level.

They would piss there pants if they saw a 90 mph fastball or an 88 mph wipeout slider starting at their waste.

Baseball is a game of failure and perseverance. Always has been, always will be.

I don't know why this board hates on Jay Johnson so much. He's not perfect but there's nobody else I'd want to coach LSU more than him right now. He's a great coach in my opinion.

The Jared Jones should've been sitting is irrelevant. It literally would never happen, and has never happened in NCAA or MLB baseball where you sit your best hitter because he is in a slump. You let him work through it. Fortunately for us, he did.

Bitches will bitch. The vocal minority has a great deal of estrogen running through their veins.
