The JD apologist will come in here and say his stats were good and he isn’t the reason LSU lost. When a team loses, there are usually a multitude of reasons for the loss but the truth is this offense is limited with him as our QB. There were no passes down the field across the middle. It seemed like any pass down the field was outside of the hash and inaccurate. When you have offensive playmakers, the goal of the offense should be to get them the ball in space and even when there isn’t space, find a way to trust that they will make a play. JD’s faith in his running ability is his biggest weakness because it prevents him from developing his passing game. The fact still remains that JD is and will always be the QB we have seen over the last three years and this team will not advance to where it needs to be with him at QB. Nuss gives this team the best chance to utilize it’s playmakers.

He has never managed to eclipse 3,000 yards passing and he played 3 seasons in the PAC-12.

He isn’t a good qb.

I don't get it either. I mean, he is a good runner, and he will make plays running. But his passing is below average.
We can't pass the ball beyond 10 yards. We have too many talented receivers and they are not being utilized.

Agreed. At the very least Nuss should get a half of football next week

You can’t really single him out. There wasn’t anyone impressive playing for us on either side of the ball

Mate, he's the QB. Of course you can.

You really don't have to defend him.

Wingo, Malik , and the transfer Jack. Last name starts with an S. All three played well.

I’m not defending anyone. They were all piss poor. If you want to call out JD, also call out Lacy, BT11, Nabers can’t get separation, RBs are slow, entire DB room is weak and small, D line got abused.

And the main problem, Brian Kelly. Learned nothing from the Tennessee debacle last year. He’s a trash coach.

Wingo had one solo tackle. He blew up 2 plays and that was that. He was good, not impressive at all. Swinson was surprising, still wasn’t that good at setting an edge.

Malik. Lol. Malik no separation Nabers. The most overhyped player on our team. Don’t even get me started.

The Daniels thing is that it's the most important position and the continuation of a story line from last year. And there isn't a whole lot that can be done about our DB situation. QB on the other hand...

I would agree with Taylor, but we didn’t include him enough for him to even matter

They are open. JD just refuses to throw it unless there is 5 yards of separation. And even if there is the throw is late

He played well. Objectively. He did enough to win but he at this point doesn’t have the ability to to will and carry a team to victory.. maybe that’s an unreasonable task with this team but that’s what we all desire and need from a QB to win with this teams deficiencies

You will blame the WRs to cover for JD.

That’s just your thing because you refuse to admit JD can’t pass

We are singling him out. He is no different than last year. LSU will beat no one of consequence with him as QB.

He’s not the best passer and our WRs suck. Both can be true.

Y’all hyped up the WR room this year and last year. At some point you have to realize they aren’t good.

For Christ’s sake you have an unproductive ULL transfer starting. They aren’t good
