Kim Mulkey - instant legend at LSU

LSU IF..... Mulkey decides to jump ship and continue her remarkable basketball career as player and coach at LSU she would be an almost instant legend in Tiger lore....
Her playing career is awesome enough here in La. at La. Tech and her coaching career is outstanding as well. What an upgrade it will be for the women's program! Sue Gunter would be proud.
My prediction is she would win a national tile w/i 5 years of running the program. I hope it happens.....

And she left La Tech over them being too cheap to offer an extra year on the contract.

I went to college with her and man...she was cute with those ponytails! Had classes with Rodman's sister...not a rocket scientist!(nor was I). Maybe that's why some of those classes were 099

I would be excited if she comes, but many of the feelings on this board about Women’s Basketball changed so damn quick. It went from “they lose too much money” and “do we really need women’s basketball?” to “I’m hoping for some national championships” and “pay her whatever”. Nothing like the rant.

This woman has the best resume of anybody not named LBJ or MJ. She is an absolute winner! Plus I was on a team that won a national softball championship with her brother. Comes from a great family!
