Kristen Nuss has qualified to represent team USA in beach volleyball at Olympics

Very awesome. I know Beach Volleyball isn't among the highest profile sports, but I feel as if these two don't get nearly enough run. They were great here and have become amazingly good as pros, also.

Right. The OP obviously didn’t realize the article was written from Nuss’ hometown perspective so they didn’t care about the fact that Kloth also played at LSU.

What's not getting enough credit is Kristen's size. Almost all beach players are very tall. She's that good that she can hang with opponents a foot taller than her.

Kloth got her MBA at LSU and was a top notch student. She was an AA INDOOR VB player at Marquette and NEVER played beach before she came to LSU. Both young ladies turned down lucrative jobs to chase this dream and they got it! Great reps for LSU.

Yeah she’s pretty damn amazing for her size. I started keeping up with them in their last year at LSU. They were dominant.
I’ve seen them play in person and watch online the past two years and they are special.

UCLA, the perennial #1 team in the country for years, played here several yrs ago for a NCAA regional ( I believe) & their players were blown away by the SRO crowd & the lots of beer fed atmosphere. These 2 girls played a big role in building the program.
