Kyren Lacy’s shot at the NFL

Obviously if he is found not guilty, he will get a shot. But he will be sued in civil court and have to forfeit a large percentage of his wages.
If he is found guilty, do you think a team will give Kyren a shot after he gets out of prison? If he gets 5 years, he will only spend 2.5 years behind bars. So he won’t be too old. The young man will also be reformed and hardened by the prison system. And he will have plenty of time for exercise to stay in shape. He may just need to petition the warden for a football during his recreation time outdoors and hope there’s a decent QB in the system that can throw to him.
I would think an NFL team might be interested in a 26 year older who is reformed, hardened, and in great shape.

He’s never playing football again. Did he graduate or get a degree?

This sounds like the male version of a romance novel

His judgement in this situation tells you everything. NFL is trying to fix its image. He will never play a down in the nfl.

I’d rather never talk about him again.

Ruggs should get out before Kyren because Kyren still will need to set a court date.
If Ruggs makes a team, Kyren has a small chance. If Ruggs doesn't, and I personally don't think he will, Kyren's chances are pretty much 0.

He was a fringe practice squad player to begin with.. this ends whatever chance he had

He’s not playing a down in the NFL.

We all encounter people going 40 MPH over the speed limit while weaving through traffic every day. The LSP is short-staffed and the troopers they do have on patrol spend most of their time writing accident reports for the personal injury lawsuits.
KL caused a death carrying out the very behavior that needs to taught is not acceptable. An honest and sincere apology and campaign meant to help combat the severity of what he did would be a good start to any chance that he has for redemption and subsequently any chance at professional football.

Henry Ruggs is up for parole in 2026 and I’d bet a team gives him a shot at some point. The main problem is that Lacy isn’t nearly as good as Ruggs.

I don't know about this. He didn't actually hit anyone. He alledgedly caused a wreck with wreckless driving. I could see a lawyer argue that he didn't realize there was a wreck and that is why he didn't stop.
Now, I know, that is some B.S., but isn't most things that lawyers can do is B.S.
