Maybe she will stay here as long as possible. And keep her teammates with her.

Why would any of that money go away? It’s mostly endorsements from national brands.

All 4 had already established their brand prior to coming to LSU.

The way I understand is that women's college basketball is more popular than the WNBA so brands are willing to pay more for them in college than they would if there in the WNBA because of less exposure.

She has an extra year if she chooses to use it.

Candace Parker makes $5.5M a year in endorsement income, about 4x what Reese is supposedly making. Sue Bird has an estimated $3M a year in income with $2M+ from endorsements. There’s no doubt Reese makes more in endorsements than most WNBA players, but there’s no reason she cannot continue to make big money in the WNBA.

Which business is going to give a Mercedes to a player that no one watches?
Probably more TV fans watched the women's NCAA finals than the entire WNBA season.

That’s the first truly local deal of hers that has been publicized. Most of her deals are national brands and based on her social media following. Livvy Dunne barely participated this year, but her income and exposure has only continued to rise.

Candace Parker is one of the greatest WNBA players in its history. Sue Bird is the same. Both have had huge exposure on multiple Olympic teams. Angel Reese is no where near that level. I doubt she will be setting records at the next level.

And she’s not doing that now either. Her value is in her image, her looks, her attitude, etc. Playing basketball is only ancillary to that. She is being paid for being famous, not for being good at basketball. There have been plenty of WNBA stars as good or better than Parker and Bird that weren’t marketable. Reese is and will continue to be in the WNBA. I don’t disagree that this championship run got her exposure she wouldn’t have gotten in the WNBA, but now that she has it, her value will come from exploiting that in social media. She won’t get consistent coverage playing basketball.

One could suspect that the people watching the WNBB championship on TV nearly doubled this year because of Reese, Johnson and Caitlin Clark’s participation.
