it just looked like a poor approach at the plate, coupled with LSU hitting some solid and balls just couldn't find green.

zero earned runs

* updated. We scored 3 Earned runs in 18 innings so far. 3 solo shots. That is not going to win many SEC games. I really really really thought that after Friday night/sat morning that we would finally snap out of the slump, hitting wise....it was a repeat from Friday night minus the Tenn errors and with worse pitching from us.

Take away the last 3 innings of game 1 against Bama and the 9th last night and we've scored like 14 runs in 11 SEC games.

It's fricking ridiculous

They also didn’t score at the end of the game against Northwestern. So 1 of 17

Agreed. I think last night we actually had a good approach a decent amount of the night. Today is much different. Very few good at bats.

Phillips was in the strike zone early, made it hard to stretch out at bats.

If we're hitting some solid balls that can't find green then Tennessee is absolutely smoking it.

We are getting completely outclassed at the plate, but their staff is significantly better than ours

Oklahoma game 2 is in that stretch and I think a lot of runs were scored in the last inning or two of that one also.

Nope. Just gonna need much more consistency to make a run.

Bad lineup

4 pitchers

Johnson is a genius for getting this team to 13-6 in the SEC
