LSU is about to have their second Heisman QB in five years. Transfer QBs, here’s your shot

I called it a week or two ago, that we will have a transfer quarterback start over Nuss. I’m sticking to it.
-* and both of our Heisman candidates were transfers

Rumors swirling MJ Morris from NC state will be the QB LSU takes. If that is true Nuss is the starter, and Morris comes in as backup. There are so many good QB options in the portal, by going after Morris you’re giving the job to Nuss.

I feel like Nuss could really do well here. I love how Nuss has stuck it out. I loved it when he was recruiting for LSU, but bringing in another quality qb wouldn't be the worst thing.
My days of questioning taking a QB from the portal are over.
In 2018 I wouldve been wrong about burrow if someone asked me how I thought his career here would go.
And imagine if we listened to posters calling for JD5s head and criticizing his passing ability after FSU this year.
If these coaches see a guy they think they can work with imma believe em.

Nothing like paying the coach of the worst LSU defense in our lifetimes $2million a year then giving him another year. House cost this team a playoff spot. Period.

Yep.
Of course Kelly did great letting Denbrock and Sloan staff do their thing.
Quite the contrary when it comes to the defense. You simply can not ignore that Brian Kelly fricked this team with House, Cooks, Steeples, no DL coach, etc.
I have a massive fear that this was the best chance he will ever have to win a national championship here.

Sure. He also probably blew his best opportunity to ever win a national title here. You know all his defense needed to do was probably be top 75 in the country and they would have had a massive chance. But nope they are 101st in total defense and 116th in 3rd down defensive efficiency out of 130 teams
