If you search “NIL money by school” or similar, you’ll find different methodology on pretty much every website/article. Some calculate using value of the collectives, some by athlete NIL value, others by revenue sharing, etc etc. Admittedly, I don’t know what’s accurate or not. However, regardless of how the lists are assembled, LSU is consistently in the top 10 and even top 5 at times.

I came across a couple of sites that had LSU outside the top 10, one site LSU wasn’t in the top 15. However, just taking a rough guestimate based on all the scattered info out there, LSU does not appear to be NIL poor as many have said on tRant.

But we have no money and schools pick on us with our big recruits because they know we don't have the money to match.

Agreed... info is so scattered it's hard to know what's what.

I mean yeah we have a top 7 class despite a lot of flips and are projected to land 2 of the best WRs in the portal already in Barion Brown from Kentucky and Nic Anderson from OU so that checks out. People on here overreact like crazy

I think that most assume that LSU is likely somewhere in the 5-12 ranking when it comes to NIL. I do not believe that our collective is the #3 collective at all.

I don't believe the first part of this statement to be true, but we lost 3 of our biggest recruits because other schools offered more money than we would match.

Ask any fan and thats all they say

LSU picks and choses what it will spend money on. I bet those thousands spent on the Tiger and insurance could have helped.

We rank in NIL just about where we average in recruiting each year. Bottom line is, if we want to have more consistency like the elite teams, we have to start recruiting like those teams. And we need collectives just as big as theirs. But, consistently being in the top 10 in NIL and recruiting should mean you have a decent shot of the playoffs each year. If Bk can’t figure that out soon, the seat needs to heat up pretty quick.

Impossible check your sources. tRant knows all and says LSU can’t compete in the NIL era

I dont believe for one bit Ole Miss is that low after what they paid for a football team this year.

The deceptive thing about Ole Miss spending is that Kiffin sucks at recruiting HS prospects, so they have more NIL money to spend in the portal. They are only paying roughly 7 4-stars in each class.

I Agree , These links could be slanted to fit a agenda.

The agenda being...

Make LSU looking like they have all this money to pay players....

******************

But In Reality they really don't. (Coming off as tight to Players looking on)

The Links look kinda amateur to me to be honest.

I agree with you BTW. Having said that, unless you are a hypocrite you can't believe the more negative numbers about LSU's NIL money right? Bottom line is there are no reliable numbers. Hopefully, you are suspicious about the people saying LSU doesn't try hard at NIL either.

The schools can not voluntarily provide the information.

No one can obtain the information by FOIA request.

It's a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
