I'm seeing a 94% rain change on Weather.com at 6:00.
What do the meteorologists on The Rant have to say?

Looks like it might get delayed a little bit, but it will be clear at some point.

If there are going to be any lineup/batting order changes this game needs to get played.

I drove by around 4pm. No fans yet, but the parking nazis were standing out in the rain to make sure no one gets a good parking spot, no consideration that the game will have 10% attendance.
Whatever fans brave the elements will still be walking in from across Nicholson or back by the rec fields.

Are those parking nazi's the same bastards that made sure you had to wear a mask at all times outside at the game; and give only a few seconds to take a sip of drink; before those motioning to "put the mask back on"?

Looks like it’s clearing out headed to the north.

I want to see someone that hasn't pitched in a while pitch. either the usf kid, the old Bama guy, beck, or Reynolds.
id throw brown for an inning or two and see what you have in an emergency
or tell Mayers you're throwing 80 pitches no matter what and you're starting
it'll be Schmidt though

Good thing we aren't playing at Opelousas State tonight, they are getting some heavy right now on radar
Posted on 4/22/25 at 5:36 pm to LSUGoose
With the strong storms earlier id expect that would have stabilized the atmosphere a bit. Should be clear for the rest of the evening

It'll be a F-R-O-G STRANGLER!!. 350 mm of rain tonite!

In the days back in the ole Box, we were at a night game with fairly nice weather. Bianco was coaching at third base when out of the blue a lightning bolt struck a tower near the Married Student Housing complex. He streaked to the dugout and literally dove in......funniest thing I ever saw at the Box.

I like the strategy. Get behind and force the offense to hit
