From what I have been told House scheme is really complex. Kelly wasn’t real happy last year. He also is not a very good recruiter in that he can’t relate to kids today. Don’t be surprised if he moves back to the NFL after the season.

It started out slow last year too and got better as the season progressed. I think he is a really good coordinator. If he moves on, it will be because of recruiting.

Remember, he has dealt with an entirely new defensive backfield in each of his first two seasons.

Doesn’t have to be for a coordinator position big guy. If he wants out he will get out. Likely as a LB coach

For the record I would take aranda back in a second.

I don’t think house is bad, and like some have said he is too complicated sometimes, the problem is he has had some really bad results in games we should win. Aranda only had issues with mobile quarterbacks. Other than that, you knew what you were going to get

how much do you think a position coach in the NFL makes? Not remotely close to the $1.9 million 2023 salary he is getting as LSU's DC. Plus he is scheduled to make $2.0 million in 2024. Contract expires after the 2024 season.

He gave up 30ppg vs SEC play. House might not be good enough.

Kelly deserves the blame.

I didn’t really see the fit. He’s stern and not really personable and wasn’t an active DC. He fits the NFL model better

His only objectively bad games last year were UT and A&M. And in his defense the offense/special teams repeatedly put him in awful positions vs UT.

Everyone shite the bed vs A&M

The recruiting part of it is actually something I have heard. I have not heard anything about kelly not being happy with him because of scheme. Because in terms of scheme he is actually a very good DC.

We were up 42-21 on UF going into the 4th.

UGA was in a different class than everyone last year.
