Cool.......one of my all-time favorites. What kind of doctor is he?

I didn't know he became a Dr. He was one of my favorites when he was playing.

It would have to be a pain to make your rounds with people always wanting to stop you and talk about baseball. I'm sure it's cool during his time off, but while making rounds I'm sure it slows him down.

It sounds like he handles it with class, though.

He was the man when I was growing up. Looks a little strange to see him that skinny.

How many people in nacogdoches, tx, do you think care about LSU baseball? There can't be many...

That's very cool. I met him at a birthday party for my son about a year ago. His sister's kid was in my son's class and he was at the party. We were at LSU at the same time, so we chatted for a good while about those years. I was a huge fan back then and it was incredible to get to talk to him one on one. He is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and yes he did seem small compared to how I remembered him back in the day. Goes to show how hard athletes today have to work to be in playing shape for almost any sport.
