These two teams are going to be in the playoff argument as long as Kelly and Riley are around.
For those youngsters on here, LSU fans hated USC more than any other team in the early to mid 2000s.

And it was so so so so so so so stupid
So stupid that many of them rooted for UCLA to beat them in 2006 basically cheering for us to miss out on the Rose Bowl against Michigan and instead we played Notre Dame in the Sugar

I get that moist just hated the guy on top and were more envious than angry. Splash in the fact that they land Booty and Mcknight and it was salt in the wound but USC wasn't as nearly as challenging to LSU as what UF and Auburn was at the time and what Bama was going to quickly become.
